Welcome to my blog! This is were you can find updates on the mission, hear about what’s going on in the field, and hear stories from across the world!
What I’m doing:
I’m going on a 9 month missions trip to six different countries with a program called the World Race Gap. As of now, on August 21, 2027 we start training camp in Gainesville Gaorgia, were we will be trained for the missions field. Life will look like sleeping in tents, portapotties and bucket showers! Then from there we will head to our first country, Portugal! Once in Portugal we will start our roughly 250 mile trek on the Camino trail ending at the great cathedral in Santiago de Compostela Spain, were the tomb of saint James the apostle is located! After we leave Spain we go to Romania and Greece.
Then we go up to Nepal, a country that is predominantly Hindu and Buddhist, and in desperate need of the gospel. Here we will hike into the small villages resting in the shadow of the largest mountain in the world, Everest!
Then we go down to Vietnam and end our trip in Cambodia!
Now you may be wondering, “why are you even doing this?”
This my be a question your thinking, in short, God told me to😂
But for real, it was about a year and a half ago that I thought it would be cool to try a missions trip. I was thinking a week or two and in the United States…… BUT BOY WAS I WRONG! I came across the world race gap, as soon as I found it I could feel that this was what God had for me….. But, I didn’t think so. It was just too far, too long, and just not what I was looking for. But that didn’t stop God🤣 One night as I laid in my bed talking to God, and I couldn’t get the world race of my mind, so I said something like “Man if you really want me to go on this trip can you just make it real clear.” Two days go by…. Nothing. But on the third day, I laid in my bed trying to find a devotional to do in the bible app and I scrolled past one called “Gods plan for your life” now I know that sounds pretty obvious, but I still didn’t realize🤦♂️ I got to the end of the list of devotionals and as I sat there I remembered that prayer I had prayed three days ago, and I’m like “come on what are the odds” (POV there are no odds with God) so I go back to that devotional called “Gods plan for your life” I click on the first lesson, and get this, the verse that lesson was about was Genesis 12:1
“The Lord had said to Abram, “Go from your country, your people and your father’s household to the land I will show you.”
Now if that is not crystal clear, I don’t know what is, and it was then that I knew this was definitely what I was going to do!
And that leads us to here, a year and a half later, trying to live out Gods will, and the great commission.
“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,”
Matthew 28:19
But I can’t do this alone, and I would like to invite you into the mission! The absolute best way you can support Is with your prayers! Please pray for the people we will meet in the field, and the ministry’s we will be helping. And please Pray for my squad and I as we prepare for this trip!
I also ask that you pray, and if you feel lead to partner in this mission financially that you would do so by clicking here —> partner!
